Just got home from open mic at Borders.  I was supposed to play in a duo, but the other half had to cancel at the last minute so I worked some songs up quick.  My set:

• Paul Simon – Slip Sliding Away
• Wilco – Poor Places
• Weezer – Jamie

They close an hour earlier now (to save some money I guess), so we ended up going a little long.  Tomorrow I may find myself in Batavia to see one of the regulars from Borders play a set at a coffee shop.  I’d still like to try some time to hash out some new website ideas this weekend.  I’m really tempted to do a black one with white text even though that’s one of the web design faux pas.  I should probably focus on my content before I get too carried away with designing things.

I’d still like to play another solo show this spring, but haven’t set anything up yet.  I should record a demo and get it out there.
