I finished my novel shortly after two o’clock this afternoon.  It had to be 50,000 words and finished by midnight.  Mine is a mere 50,062 words.  I can still write more and add too it, but the story is bascially told.  It will get longer with a rewrite.  I’ll take some things out, reword other parts, and add quite a bit in.

I feel good about having written it and gone through with it, but I’m not about to let anyone actually read it.  Maybe after the first rewrite I’ll let a few select people take a peek, but right now I just want to take a break from it.  I don’t want to hear the word NaNoWriMo for at least a month.  I’m really considering taking a personal day tomorrow just because I know how slow it is going to be.
