Samurai Space Bot
This is something I managed to put together this weekend. It’s a robot I call Samurai Space Bot. My cousin makes magnets and I’m debating having him make some up from this image, though I’m still playing with the colors.
It would have been nice to get more done this weekend, and I suppose it isn’t over yet, but my creative efforts keep hitting a wall. However, I did go and work a little bit of overtime today and I’ve also been playing a fair amount of guitar. On December 6th I am tentatively playing a private party, which shouldn’t be too bad because I’ll know most of the people there and I’m going to cheat and have a music stand in front of me. There are a lot of songs I’ve memorized and forgotten over the years. I’m hoping to put a binder together of all the songs I can play.
In other musical news, I’m gaining a greater appreciation for the new Weezer album, “The Red Album”. For sure there are some duds on it, but if you pick up the deluxe version with four extra songs you’ll get the tune that I’m currently addicted to, “Miss Sweeney”.
Love the magnet designs. Especially the colors. Will it be an “all magnet Christmas” with us all exchanging magnets?
It could be. Hopefully I get some more ideas during the week. I’m adding legs to the guitar playing robot image now and I’m toying with the idea of doing a self-portrait magnet and/or postcard.
