Guitar Playing Robot 2
This image has been updated. Legs have been added and the red wash has been taken away. I’m toying with the idea of doing two versions of this magnet. One as seen here that will be given away to friends and family (promotional items if you will) and another that will be sold in an Etsy shop (or wherever) with a different color guitar.
This image makes me want to do similar images with different guitars, different robots, and bigger…as in paintings on canvas or masonite. No time for that now though. October is almost over and November is dedicated to NaNoWriMo.
You should definitely put them on etsy as magnets for the holiday season. You could probably sell 5×7 prints as well. Robots and guitars are big on etsy.
I should have planned better because I actually drew these at 2 x 3, so blowing them up only amplifies the flaws. I’ll do my next ones bigger though. I really like the idea of doing postcards.
Actually, if you scan them in at 600 dpi, the enlarging won’t really be a problem, but yeah, it always looks better drawn big and reduced.
Yeah, I meant the flaws in my artwork. I need to start working bigger and shrinking down.
