I Hate Saint Simon

There is this song, “Saint Simon”, that drives me absolutely up the wall.  It’s the fifth track on Chutes Too Narrow by The Shins.  It’s probably a good song, but the song itself is not the problem.  The problem is that there is a tiny little bell part (at 0:25 and from there on repeating twice during the chorus) that is remarkably similar to a bit of sound used in the menu for a DVD that I simply cannot place.  I’d hoped that maybe it was actually a clip from this song sans lyrics, but my searches yield nothing.  I can’t tell you what the movie was about or who was in it.  I can tell you it is a movie I rented and do not own, and it was probably something released in the 21st century.  It may have been an artsy independent thing and I want to say that circles were a design element in the menu playback.  I can also tell you that the audio/video loop for the menu seemed shorter than most and the bell part was irritating to me at the time.

If you can provide any clues I would greatly appreciate it as I will not be able to listen to this song until I have the answer.  Thank you.
