Lollapalooza is coming!
My updated schedule: http://lolla08.sched.org/u6crash
There’s a nifty site that allows Lollagoers to change their schedule at a moment’s notice and share with others. Unfortunately I still have big huge gaps in mine (2:30pm – 4:30pm Saturday, 11:00a – 4:00pm). I suppose I’ll just migrate between stages that interest me. I’m trying to decide if I want to bother with any autograph signings. So far the only ones that interest me are Mason Jennings and Toadies. I’m not an autograph hunter by any means, but it’d be pretty neat to have an autographed Lollapalooza poster.
In other news, work is getting tough. Sometimes I think there is a master plan that I’m not privy to, but as it goes I have been made the new shift supervisor in addition to all the duties of my previous title (whatever that was). The previous supervisor is being trained for a minimum of six months to operate the hones proficiently. Right now this means a lot more hours for me which is good for the pocketbook, but it’s bad for the ongoing projects I want to work on.
It would be great to get my room clean once and for all and establish a pre-work schedule. I could commit 45 minutes to drawing, 45 minutes to guitar, and 45 minutes to writing and the last 45 minutes to getting ready for work. This sounds all well and good but getting the room clean is essential as is making sure I don’t sleep late.

Maybe check out Rogue Wave on Friday.
I’ll see if I can. I’m not sure I’m going to get there early enough though.
happy birthday! have fun this weekend… hopefully it’s not as hot in chicago as it is in austin for acl. i like the autograph signings (last year i got jess malin, pete yorn, and ben kweller all on my acl poster, which was awesome) but you might need to leave the set right before the last song in order to get in line. if the line’s too long they’ll cut it off at a certain point. i was glad we left two songs ahead for ben kweller, that line got huge!
